REBECCA DONCON
Travel advisor
Rebecca has always had a keen interest in travel and studied Travel & Tourism in Wodonga in 1997 after finishing school, but never pursued a career in the industry until now. She moved back to Deniliquin to marry a farmer and spent 22 years in Customer Service in the agricultural industry. They say that timing is everything, so after 18 months at home working on her own business and experiencing her first two overseas trips to America, Bec knew it was time to make her passion a reality and joined our team in April. “I love the excitement travel brings to people’s lives, and I get to be a part of that!”

HAYLEY BROWN
MARKETING, ADMINISTRATION & CORPORATE SALES
After completing her HSC in 2015, Hayley deferred her university course for 12 months with the plan of working for a year to save money before commencing study again. She was offered a 12 month gap year position when Chantall took over the business, and you can still find her in the office today after falling in love with the travel industry! In the beginning Hayley sold bus and lotto tickets before moving to a domestic consulting role. Hayley now manages the office’s marketing and corporate sales. “I find the travel industry so unique and rewarding. I love sharing in my client’s travel experiences and memories.”

ELLE PARSONS

Elle finished school in 2011 and had plans for university so deferred for a year and found herself a job at Travelscene Deniliquin in 2012. Starting as a junior her primary roll was selling bus and lotto tickets. Elle found herself wanting more and so over time completed certificates 3 and 4 in Travel and Tourism which led to taking on a full time consulting role. “No two travellers are the same so working one on one with my clients to ensure their needs are met and turning their dreams into reality is what I love most about my job.”

JACINTA GOODEAR

Jacinta completed school in 2003 and started at Travelscene Deniliquin as a junior before moving to Wodonga where she continued to grow as a consultant. After leaving the travel industry for a change of career, she soon discovered that travel is in her blood and hasn’t looked back since returning to the industry. Jacinta returned to Deniliquin 7 years ago, bringing with her a wealth of knowledge which she applies every day in her international consulting role. “I love creating everyones dream holiday and memories for them to cherish forever.”Favourite destination (so far) – Egypt

CHANTALL BARNES
OWNER / MANAGER
Owner and director of Deniliquin Travel Centre, Chantall has worked within the industry for 20 years. After completing her HSC at Deni High, Chantall joined the team as a junior team member selling Lotto tickets and cigarettes. She quickly progressed through the ranks to earn herself a consulting role and instantly fell in love with the position. Chantall is motivated to provide clients a personal and professional travel experience and enjoys the opportunity to share her passion for travel as a profession.
Chantall took over the reigns of Deniliquin Travel Centre in 2016 and thrives on driving a successful small business. She leads her team to provide memorable travel services and was rewarded for her motivation and dedication in 2018, being awarded Young Business Executive. “Travel brings everyone together and it’s the experience it offers people that most excites me”.
